“Preserving the Piping Plover; A Natural Partnership for Survival” received an “Excellence in Communications” award from the International Academy of the Visual Arts. The Producer, Jeffrey Gould, worked in partnership with the Sandy Hook Foundation and the National Park Service to create this award-winning documentary, with funding from the Stone Foundation of New Jersey. The video features many never-before-captured images of the threatened piping plover, which nests on the beaches of Sandy Hook.
